Gypsy Rose Blanchard reveals she’s pregnant with her first child

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is going to be a mum

32-year-old Gypsy Rose revealed the major news in a YouTube video on July 9th.

She explained to her followers that the pregnancy wasn't planned, but she is excited for this new chapter.

The mum-to-be said she is currently 11 weeks pregnant.

"I know the rumors have been flying around for quite some time now and I'm happy to announce that I am 11 weeks pregnant."

Gypsy Rose is expecting her first child with her partner Ken, whom she met during her time in prison.

"Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January of 2025. This was not planned at all, it was completely unexpected.

"But we're both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood," she said.

She acknowledged that some people may be concerned about her pregnancy.

However, she stressed she said she hopes to be the best mum possible.

"All the things that I wanted in a mother, I want to give to this baby"

"I know that there are going to be people who feel like I'm not ready to be a mother but I don't know if anyone's really ready to be a mother."

"All the things that I wanted in a mother, I want to give to this baby. I'm a mother now, I am happy.

"I just want to be a good mother for my child. I want to be everything my mother wasn't," she added.

Gypsy Rose was found guilty of killing her mother Dee Dee Blanchard in 2018. Dee Dee was found dead at their home in 2015 and Gypsy Rose was sentenced to a total of 10 years in prison.

Her mother Clauddine ‘Dee Dee’ Blanchard emotionally and physically abused her daughter for years. It is believed Dee Dee had Munchausen by proxy syndrome.

Gypsy Rose and her boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn plotted her murder. It is understood that she hid in the bathroom when Nicholas Godejohn stabbed her mother to death.

Before her death, Dee Dee claimed her daughter had multiple medical issues including leukemia, muscular dystrophy, as well as asthma.
