Hailey Baldwin just made a BIG life change and we’re not sure about it

Hailey Baldwin is now Hailey Bieber.

Yep, really. Thanks to her actor father and uncles, the model has a pretty famous surname of her own but she's dropped it in honour of her husband Justin Bieber. Hailey made her new name official by putting it on her Instagram account last night. TMZ is reporting that Justin had his team get in touch with Instagram about making the change - presumably with Hailey's permission. It comes two months after the pair wed in a secret ceremony in New York. We have to say that we love love and we just want these two to be happy but we don't know if we can get behind this. History has proven that taking your spouse's name isn't always the best idea when you're super famous. As a celebrity, your name is your brand. We're not saying that Hails and Justin aren't forever but just look at Cheryl, whose cheating ex-husband's name is still strongly associated with her. Not ideal. Still, we hope that Hailey never has to change her name back. For now the two seem super loved-up. Justin said this week that he wants to put music on the back burner to focus on "self-discovery" with Hailey by his side. "He is in love with Hailey," a source said. "She encourages him to do whatever he wants to do, and is encouraging him in this season of self-discovery."
