Hailey Bieber admits she is ‘scared’ to have children with husband Justin

The two have been married for nearly five years.

Hailey Bieber has said that she is "scared" to have children with her husband, Justin Bieber, and worries about the effect of social media hate on them. The model admitted that while she wants to be a mother "so bad" and could "cry about this all the time", she is concerned that any child she does have will be subject to the same hate she receives online. The 26-year-old told The Sunday Times: "I want kids so bad but I get scared. It’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends.

"I can’t imagine having to confront people saying things about a child.

"We can only do the best we can to raise them. As long as they feel loved and safe."

Hailey's comments come after she received a huge amount of trolling earlier this year when she was accused of bullying Selena Gomez.

"I’d love to have myself a little tribe"

There were rumours that the two were in a "feud", with many of Selena's fans claiming Hailey had made digs about the singer online.

Despite Selena originally denouncing the rumours, they still ensued until she addressed them again, revealing that Hailey had gotten in touch with her to say she had been getting death threats due to it and Selena eventually asked fans to back down.

This is not the first time Hailey or Justin have been open about wanting children, as the 'Baby' singer told Ellen DeGeneres in 2020 on her show that he can't wait to start a family.

He said: "I'm going to have as many as Hailey is wishing to push out.

"I’d love to have myself a little tribe. But, yeah, it's her body and whatever she wants to do… I think she wants to have a few."

Justin and Hailey first started dating in 2014 for a few months before rekindling their romance in 2018. Justin proposed during a trip to the Bahamas later that year and in September of 2018, they were married in a New York courthouse.

The two then said their vows for a second time in 2019 in front of friends and family in a South Carolina ceremony.
