Hospital investigating circumstances surrounding Nikki Grahame’s death

While Nikki was living with anorexia, the direct cause of her death is not yet known.

The hospital that treated Nikki Grahame before she passed away is conducting an investigation into the cause of the Big Brother star's death. A spokesperson for Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust told the BBC that the internal investigation is "in line with standard procedures following any death". The statement added that all information and findings garnered from the case will be passed on in confidence to Nikki Grahame's family members. Additionally, the spokesperson for the hospital shared their condolences with the late reality TV star's friends and family: "Staff at the Trust were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Miss Grahame, and our thoughts are with the family and friends of Miss Grahame at this very difficult time." The direct cause of her death is not yet known. Grahame, who had been suffering from anorexia for several years, passed away on Friday 8 April. Nikki was admitted to the hospital on March 24 and left the facility on April 8. Announcing the news, her agent wrote: "It is with immeasurable sadness that Nikki Grahame passed away in the early hours of Friday 9 April 2021. "Please respect the privacy of Nikki's friends and family at this tragic and difficult time." The star was known for her appearance on the reality show Big Brother. Fans were incredibly fond of her bubbly persona and sense of humour. In a tweet, former Big Brother host Davina McCall described Grahame as "the funniest, most bubbly, sweetest girl". In an emotional post on Instagram, Nikki's ex-boyfriend Pete Bennett paid tribute to the star, and raised a bottle of wine to her memory.
