James McVey posts picture of the moment right before he proposed and BOY is it risky

On Sunday it emerged that I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here contestant and The Vamps lead guitarist and vocalist asked his long-term girlfriend to marry him. James who has been dating model and environmental student, Kirstie Brittain for several years popped the question shortly after new year in the picturesque setting of the Lake District. The 25-year-old has just afforded us with a glimpse of the scene right before he proposed... and our hearts are in our mouths just looking at it! He captioned the stunning Instagram:

"No idea how Kirstie didn’t turn around and ruin this picture before I took it! This was the most nerve-wracking moment of my entire life. Thanks so much for all the lovely messages - we are over the moon to share our news with you."

What a special moment to capture! Kirstie took to social media herself to comment on the exciting news saying:

"My boy proposed and of course I said YES YES YES. We’re on Cloud 9. Off to drink buckets of champagne at a fancy restaurant."

  Jame's proposal was made even sweeter by the revelation that jungle campmate, Harry Redknapp went with him to select the ring.
