Jessica Jones’ Krysten Ritter has welcomed her first child

Jessica Jones' Krysten Ritter has given birth to her first child.

The actress, who announced her pregnancy in February, and her boyfriend, musician Adam Granduciel are said to have welcomed a son in late July. TMZ report the newborn's name is Bruce Julian Knight Granofsk, and that he was born on July 29. It comes as the 37-year-old's "best friends" threw her a music-themed baby shower earlier this summer. "My best friends threw me a baby shower and my heart is exploding," she captioned the series of photos from the day. Among the people there to celebrate with her was her former Jessica Jones co-star, Mike Colter. He captioned the photo:

"CONGRATULATIONS to my former co star and and gal pal @therealkrystenritter ! I can count on one hand how many baby showers I have been to including the ones for my own kids! "Thanks for inviting me to share this special time with you and #adamgranduciel . So happy for you! You're gonna be a great mom;) Welcome to the club."

Ritter first confirmed her pregnancy during the 2019 Oscars earlier this year.
