Jesy Nelson and Chris Hughes have officially confirmed their relationship

After months of are-they-or-aren't-they dating rumours, Chris Hughes and Jesy Nelson have gone public with their relationship.

On Friday, the couple took to Instagram Stories to document their date night - sharing a series of videos of them at what appeared to be the Alcatraz pop-up bar in London. The cute clips showed them putting on accents as they tried to get into character. In one of the videos, Jesy could be seen giggling as Chris said:

"I think I have found love, I think I have it’s taken me two years."

During their night out, the former Love Island contestant shared a photo of the two of them - wearing matching orange jumpsuits (aka: prison uniforms) - kissing. "The only inmate I've ever needed," he wrote alongside the photo. Jesy later posted a photo of herself cuddled up to Chris, which she simply captioned with an orange heart. The pair were first spotted together in January, enjoying a date at The Cauldron, a Harry Potter-themed bar before sharing a kiss in a takeaway in the early hours of the morning. A few weeks later, they were reported to have split up after Jesy became worried the 26-year-old was "fame hungry." Speaking to The Sun, an insider said at the time that while Chris was heartbroken, he understood it was for the best. However, late last month, things between the couple appeared to be back on after they shared a series of snaps from a weekend getaway to Dublin.
