Kate Middleton branded ‘cold’ in new scathing book

Kate Middleton has been given a cruel nickname in a new book.

Omid claims the Princess of Wales has never had an interest in being friends with her sister-in-law and branded her a "Stepford-like royal wife."

The author doesn't mince his words as he claims that Kate earned herself the nickname "Katie Keen" because the palace press office hid her reportedly lower workload by saying she is "keen to learn."

He claimed that the Princess of Wales has fewer work commitments than other royals and that she has no plans to increase her workload.

"Where other senior royals are out and about several times a week, meeting people across the length and breadth of the country, Kate has long maintained a smaller work schedule that helped her check off the required royal boxes while saving time for her roles as a mother and a wife," Omid claimed.

He also decided to draw comparisons between Kate and her sister-in-law Meghan.

The author said that the mum of three wasn't known for her "leadership and outgoing nature," unlike Meghan and that the mother-of-three has had five private secretaries in six years because they apparently found the role "uninspiring and frustrating."

Meghan, meanwhile, was the "star of the show" and "the new Diana" Omid wrote, claiming she knew "how to be modern royal," he writes that the Duchess of Sussex "got things done fast."

One thing to keep in mind if you plan to read this book is that Omid is co-author of Finding Freedom, a biography of Harry and Meghan that spoke very highly of the couple.
