In case you missed it, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are getting married. Word got out when Katy's mum shared cute photos to her Facebook account of the couple posing under an arch of heart-shaped balloons with the caption "look who got engaged last night" on Friday. Turns out Orlando popped the question on Valentine's Day and presented Katy with a whopper of an engagement ring. The ring features what looks like a sapphire encircled by diamonds in a flower shape. It's reported to be worth $5 million - but that's not what's set tongues wagging. Some fans reckon that it's very similar to the ring that Orlando proposed to his ex-wife Miranda Kerr with in 2010. Just for reference, here's Miranda's ring. Hers is a more traditional diamond ring but is in the same distinct flower shape as Katy's. While they're not identical, you'd have to say that Orlando likes a certain style of ring. He and Katy started dating at the beginning of 2016 but took time apart the following year, before reuniting in 2018. This will be the second marriage for both of them. Katy was married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012. Orlando married Miranda in 2010 but divorced in 2013. Together they have a son, eight-year-old Flynn.
