Lamar Odom Reportedly Woke From Coma And Was Able To Speak

Lamar Odom has reportedly awoken from his coma and communicated.   The NBA star, who was hospitalised on Tuesday after being found unconscious in Nevada, has shown improvements in his condition today, according to various sources. Khloe and Lamar filed for divorce in July of this year. Alvina Alston, a spokesperson for Odom's aunt JaNean Mercer, told Entertainment Tonight that the athlete regained consciousness and was able to speak. She revealed that when doctors asked how the 35-year-old was doing, he responded with a thumbs up and said "good morning". According to the publication, when asked if he would like to see his children, Lamar replied: "Yes." Lamar's children and other family members visit him at Sunrise Hospital in Nevada.  Lamar has two children from his relationship with Lisa Morales, Destiny and Lamar Odom Jr. In a statement released to ET, Destiny and Lamar said: "Thanks for your outpouring of prayers and support for our dad. "We are here with our family and friends. We appreciate everyone respecting our privacy at this time. We ask for your continued prayers."
