Lizzo hits back at weight trolls by branding herself ‘perfect’ and ‘the beauty standard’

“I am the beauty standard. Catch up, b****!”

“I’m sorry that my perfect face and rockin body offends you… I can’t help that I’m God’s favourite”, she captioned the video on Instagram. “I’m gorgeous…I am the beauty standard”, she told fans. She also shared the clip on TikTok, with the caption: “I seen way too many tik tok lives discussing my body lately…. Yall ok?” It has racked up more than 293,000 views.

She was recently the subject of a tweet which many interpreted as fat shaming.
