Love Island’s Wes Nelson has spoken about his new relationship for the first time

Love Island's Wes Nelson has spoken about his rumoured new girlfriend for the first time - as he appeared to have a dig at his ex, Megan Barton-Hanson.

The reality TV star had previously been reported to be "secretly dating" Instagram model Alicia 'Lissy' Roddy after the pair met in Dublin a few weeks ago. And Wes, who split with his Love Island co-star girlfriend Megan in January this year, seems to be determined to take his relationship a bit slower this time around. While on holiday in Los Angeles, Wes was asked if everything was "good" between him and Alicia. In video footage obtained by The Sun, he said:

“Everything is chilling. I’m still dating Lissy. I’m not running into a relationship again. It’s nothing official yet. We’re still dating.”

Wes and Megan, who came in fourth in last year's series of Love Island, confirmed earlier this year that they had gone their separate ways. However, all wasn't meant to be and their relationship came to a crumbling end when Wes took part in Dancing On Ice. The 21-year-old notes the competition as the finishing of his relationship as it caused several problems between himself and Megan due to jealousy and a busy schedule. Wes is said to have moved on with Alicia after the pair met at a Nasty Gal party in Dublin earlier this year.
