Marnie Simpson Reveals Heartbreak Following Ricky Rayment Split

Marnie Simpson has tweeted three "heartbroken" messages to her 581,000 followers this weekend. The Geordie Shore star, who recently split from TOWIE's Ricky Rayment, took to the social media site after Ricky tweeted that he was off the market once again.

The couple called off their engagement recently after nine months together. Speaking to New! magazine about the split, Marnie revealed:  "We just weren't getting on." The couple called off their engagement in recent weeks.  "He'd say it was because we were spending too much time together, but if you're engaged why is that an issue?" "He was always under the illusion love isn't easy and you've got to try and work at it, but I don't think like that. It should come naturally."
