The upcoming and revamped series of Big Brother was announced during the final of Love Island as an advertisement for the new show appeared during the ad break on ITV2.
Showing a short teaser for the show, the 2023 series was confirmed to have a new home after previously being aired on Channel 4 and Channel 5.
Big Brother was axed by Channel 5 in 2018 but is now aimed at the "Love Island generation" on ITV2, with the housemates being real people rather than celebrities, with a new UK location.
Maura isn't the only person tipped to be in the running for the host as Rylan Clark has made it known that he would love to get involved as well as original host Davina McCall is also said to be "very keen" to return.
