Maura quickly became one of the show's most iconic contestants, and today she is the social media ambassador for the US version of 'Love Island'.
During her stint as an islander, she formed a friendship with Molly-Mae Hague, one that is still strong to this day.
This friendship, in turn, has seen Maura stay close with Tommy Fury, Molly's fiancé and a fellow former contestant from their series of the reality dating show.
Outside of that, she told The Sun at The Beauty Awards 2023 that she has not maintained any strong connections with the other islanders.
However, Maura did admit that she speaks to Francesca Allen 'a bit', and despite only being in the villa for just 12 days, the two stay in touch.
"Other than that, that's probably it," the 33-year-old shared.
While on the topic, the social media personality poured cold water on the possibility of ever returning to the villa as a 'Love Island' contestant.
"I feel like I've done it. I don't wanna go back, I wanna move forward,” she explained.
"I feel like once is enough. I think my contestant days are definitely done, no more dating shows for me."
During her time on the show, she had a romantic relationship with Curtis Pritchard and the pair placed 4th overall.
Maura, while working as the social media ambassador for 'Love Island Games', had a 'run-in' with her ex after he was the third contestant to be eliminated.
When asked if it was weird by former 'Love Island' contestant Kem Cetinay on Capital Late Show, she replied:
"Do you know what, like, everyone’s very excited about this because obviously they know that I would have had to interview him like, if he gets dumped from the show or if he makes the final.
“So yeah, we could have a run-in there. So yeah, I mean, I don’t know how much I can say but… it was interesting."
“But I mean, there is an interview and I’m trying to think back like how it went like I think it was okay, I think I was nice. I think,” Maura continued.
“I think there might have been moments where I wasn’t too… polite, but I think I made it more of a joke."
