Meghan Markle and Prince Harry release Christmas card where Archie is the centre of attention

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have released their official Christmas card and baby Archie takes the limelight.

Featuring a black and white snap of the family of three, Archie is at the forefront while his parents look on lovingly at their little boy. Including a Christmas tree and sparkling lights, it's a festive treat and features a message from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex too "wishing you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. From our family to yours". It was released on the Queen's Commonwealth Trust Twitter account late last night, with the caption "just sharing the sweetest Christmas Card from our President and Vice-President, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Very Merry Christmas, everyone!"

According to reports, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry landed in Canada with Archie last week to spend the holiday there, receiving a welcome message from the Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau.

A statement was shared, explaining their decision to choose the country as their base for this year's holiday season. It explained that they were taking "some private family time" as has been reported recently.

“The decision to base themselves in Canada reflects the importance of this Commonwealth country to them both. Whilst this email confirms the country they are taking their family time in, for security reasons we will not be releasing any further details and request that their privacy is respected". "The Duke of Sussex has been a frequent visitor to Canada over many years, and it was also home to The Duchess for seven years before she became a member of the Royal Family. "They are enjoying sharing the warmth of the Canadian people and the beauty of the landscape with their young son."

It's believe that Meghan's mother Doria Ragland has joined them this Christmas after her daughter spent the last two festive seasons at Sandringham, the Queen's country residence in Norfolk.
