As fans of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will know, they first started dated in 2017 and travelled to Botswana after just a few weeks of dating. The reason for the trip was a special one, working with non-profit organisation Elephants Without Borders. This week, the couple announced their new Instagram account, Sussex Royal, and it features updates from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The most recent post includes five photos, one of which features Harry and Meghan during their trip to Botswana assisting Dr. Mike Chase in equipping a bull elephant with a satellite collar. Harry is president of African Parks Network and he is dedicated to campaigning for the protection of endangered wildlife and communities. Last night, he attended the premiere of David Attenborough's Our Planet alongside his father and brother, Prince Charles and Prince William at the National History Museum. The caption for the post explains how Prince Harry is hugely committed to this cause and how he and Meghan wanted to do what they can do to help. An estimated 100 elephants are poached/killed every day for their ivory tusks and by equipping the elephant pictured with a satellite collar, conservationists are now better able to protect him. It's a busy time for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex with the duo expecting their first child this month, according to reports. Meghan is currently taking maternity leave while Prince Harry is said to have been very broody at recent public engagements, could he be any sweeter?!
