Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright are expecting their first child

The couple shared the joyous news in a joint Instagram post.

The actress wrote, "2025 is going to be a special one for us…" alongside a photo of her holding her growing baby bump on a beach with her husband.

Followers have flooded the post with congratulatory messages, joined by friends and family sharing in the couple's joy.

Wright's brother, Josh, wrote: “Over the moon for you both and can’t wait for our boys to meet your little one.” Meanwhile, their mum said her “heart is full of excitement” for the pair.

His former The Only Way Is Essex co-star, James Argent, added: “Can’t wait to be an uncle!” in celebration of their happy news.

Keegan and Wrihght began dating in 2012. The pair were engaged one year later and married in May 2015.

She began her career in acting playing Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street in 2008.

In 2014, after her departure from the soap, she starred in the drama Our Girl and the comedy-drama Brassic.

Meanwhile, Wright rose to fame on reality TV and was a runner-up on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2011. He later was a finalist in BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing in 2014.
