Molly-Mae changes her foundation shade after *that* YouTube video

It caused a lot of controversy... and Molly-Mae has now addressed it in a new tutorial.

A few weeks ago, Molly-Mae Hague uploaded a video to YouTube where she applied her 'everyday' makeup. However, after the video went online, she was criticised for the foundation shade she used. While describing her makeup routine, she revealed that she uses MAC's Studio Fix in shade NC43. Many people commented on the video, as well as on Instagram, saying that the shade was way too dark for her. In a new video, which was uploaded on Sunday, the Love Island star said that she has changed her foundation after suffering so much abuse online. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLCjhJ3YOSY In the video, called Winter Glam Get Ready With Me, she said: "This is actually a foundation that I've been using for years and I've just gone back to using it. I'm wearing it in shade 'Barcelona' and if anyone's offended by that then I'm sorry.

"I'm past the point of actually having anything to say. I never realised how many people I could offend by applying foundation.

"I think I'm going to do a whole video soon talking about trolling and my experience with it. Some days you do just feel like you can't do anything right. Whether it's cooking my boyfriend a meal, whether it's applying foundation, whether it's dressing up for Halloween, you do genuinely just feel like you can't do anything right." This touched on what we spoke to Molly-Mae about when she was in Dublin last week to launch her new PrettyLittleThing collection. When asked about what advice she would give to contestants going into the winter Love Island villa, she said:  "Really understand what you're about to enter into because life will never be the same again. "I actually want to do a new YouTube video on it; like a message to the new Islanders because I wish I got to hear from someone who was in the villa the same amount of time that I was and just got some proper advice. She continued: "When you come out, you need to do a few things to prepare yourself. I thought I was prepared, but realistically, I wasn't, so I think my biggest advice would be to just understand that your life is going to change massively."
