Niall Horan is really looking forward to releasing new music - and it's safe to say we are too. The former boy band member took to Twitter last night to share his excitement, saying that it's been nearly two years since he came out with anything new. He said: "I couldn’t be more excited to get back releasing music and performing live if I tried. Nearly 2 years since I released something of my own."

His fans seem to be buzzing for the day to arrive as the tweet was liked more than 70 thousand times and has been retweet 12,000 times so far. Many fans rushed to comment on the tweet, with one saying: "Every time you tweet something about new music I have a heart attack," while another fan wrote: "NIALL STOP TEASING AND JUST GIVE US A DATE ALREADY." One more excited fan commented: "NIALL THE TEASER HORAN END OF SEP OR START OF OCT PLS TELL." There is no word yet of an official date, but after sending out a tweet like this, it has to be soon.
