Noel Gallagher and his wife Sara MacDonald are divorcing after 22 years together. The musician has reportedly moved out of their Hampshire home following their separation. Noel and Sara are trying to remain civil for the sake of their children, a source told The Sun. The couple shares two sons- Donovan and Sonny. A spokesperson confirmed the news of their split to The Sun. They stated; "Noel and Sara will continue to look after their children who remain the priority. They ask the media to respect their privacy and that of our family at this time.” An insider told The Sun that Noel is no longer living at their family home. It is believed the Slide Away musician is now living in North London. The source said, "It is a great shame but they are trying to keep it civilised.” “Noel has moved out, but in time Sara might want to move back to London. They’re working everything out steadily to minimise the disruption.” Noel and Sara met in 2000. They did not marry until 2011 because publicist Sara thought Gallagher was too immature to marry. Gallagher was previously married to Meg Matthews. The pair tied the knot in Las Vegas in June 1997. The pair met through MTV presenter Rebecca de Ruvo, whom he was dating at the time. He then left her for Matthews. Meg Matthews gave birth to their daughter Anaïs Gallagher on January 27th, 2000. The guitarist divorced Meg Matthews in January 2001. He claimed he cheated on her with Sara McDonald, but later claimed he lied about cheating to speed up the divorce process.
