Over a year on Louise Redknapp reflects on her split from ex Jamie

She made a very sweet revelation.

When Jamie and Louise Redknapp parted ways at the end of 2017, we were pretty surprised. They were definitely one of our fave celebrity couples and when the sad news broke that the pair had decided to go their separate ways after 19 years of marriage, we were devastated for them. Louise was certainly well loved by Jamie's family, with Harry previously stating "it was a choker" when he first heard the news of the split. Over a year later, Louise is opening up about her feelings towards her ex-husband and admitted that he is still her "best friend" despite how tough things have been.

Louise, 44, told Heart Breakfast:

"He’s my best friend. It’s been really tough but things happen and yeah, I saw him yesterday and it was all good."

Indeed the pair seem quite amicable and regularly attend school meetings together. Jamie and Louise have two children together, Beau (10) and Charles (14). The former Eternal star also told of how she and her sons would watch Harry Redknapp on TV every night when he was in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! She said:

"My kids were going crazy laughing! We all watched him every night. "I just don’t think they could believe it was him, because he just doesn’t do things like that! So they’re like ‘is Pop really gonna eat that? Is Pop really gonna do that?’ "The kids were super proud of him, and for a whole three-and-a-half weeks that was our nightly viewing, obviously."

With yesterday's revelation that Louise is working on new solo music, 2019 looks very promising for her indeed and we couldn't be more delighted.
