Pretty Little Liars’ Shay Mitchell accused of faking vacation Instagram posts

She's become a social media favourite for her travel photos.

Pretty Little Liars' Shay Mitchell has been accused of faking some of her Instagram photos during her vacation to Hong Kong. The 30-year-old actress regularly shares pictures from her holidays, which she calls #Shaycations, on social media. But after one recent photo sparked fans' curiosity, people think that they have found the original photos of the ones she has posted. Stylecaster note that she first shared a picture of the Monster Building in Hong Kong to her Instagram story, captioning it: "Night views". The publication was quick to wonder if the photo was actually pulled from the internet, as there was a huge clue directly on it. While the picture looked like just about any other one you would see on a travel Instagram feed, there was actually a mouse cursor in the bottom left corner. After digging into the origins of the photo, they found what appears to be the original one on a travel blog from the camera company, Canon - the biggest differences between them being that she cropped and filtered her photo. It appears as if that wasn't the only photo that was taken from the internet. She posted a photo of the Jing'an Temple, a 780-year-old Buddhist shrine in Shanghai, which showed a crowd of tourists surrounding it and taking pictures. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bg5lSGRB3Ld/?utm_source=ig_embed But an Instagram photo posted to @shanghainowandthen in 2016 has the exact same view, with the tourists standing in the exact same position - including the woman in the noticeable yellow coat. https://www.instagram.com/p/BHmfHE9jT8F/?utm_source=ig_embed   Some of the original photos which had been speculated to have been faked have had their comments updated. The caption has been updated to say that the photo as taken from tumblr. The original photo, however, appears to have been taken by photographer Jan Vranovsky in 2014 - and was taken in Japan. Even with  the confusion surrounding some of her photos, it looks like Shay definitely had an amazing-looking vacation in China.
