Prince Charles won’t be making an appearance at the Diana statue’s unveiling

It's no secret that there are tensions and endless drama within the royal family, but the latest is not what anyone expected. With the unveiling of the Princess Diana statue coming up to mark her 60th birthday, we thought the only drama we'd be seeing would be between Prince Harry and Prince William. But it turns out there's more as it's been revealed that Prince Charles won't be making an appearance at his late wife's memorial statue's reveal. The Sun reports that the Prince of Wales won't be in attendance as he's already planned a trip to Scotland. An anonymous source said: "Charles will leave the boys to it. Harry will need to quarantine for at least five days when he lands in England, most likely at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor. "Charles has made it quite clear he will not be around beyond that because he is going to Scotland. There is no planned meeting between the three of them." As he heads off and avoids a meeting with his two sons, another source who says they're a close friend of Charles's told The Times that being there might bring back sad memories. They said: "He does find it terribly difficult. These moments have the potential to resurface old wounds, and it brings back memories for him; happy, sad, regretful." The ceremony is set to take place tomorrow, July 1st to commemorate the late Princess Diana on what would have been her 60th birthday. Due to take place at Kensington Palace, Prince Harry is making his way back to the UK to remember his mother, and also undoubtedly have a run in with his older brother.
