Anyway, the royal family have come a long way in breaking old tradition... but not far enough.
I recently found out that if Princess Charlotte has children they won't be a Prince or Princess.
Sad for them.
According to Town & Country, there are only two ways you can become a British Princess or Prince.
You need to be born the daughter of a Prince (or the British sovereign), or you have to marry one.
So there might still be hope for me...
Lucy Hume, associate director of Debrett's, spoke to Town & Country:
"Royal titles are inherited through sons, so if Princess Charlotte has children they would not automatically inherit the titles 'HRH,' 'Prince,' or 'Princess.'"
That's the reason why Prince Andrew's children are Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, but Princess Anne's kids are just Zara and Peter.
However, if Charlotte ends up being Queen (maybe George won't want it) then her children would be Princes and Princesses.
