Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter have called it quits

The pair were on their way to becoming one of Hollywood's coolest new couples, but things turned sour in August.

According to reports, Sabrina Carpenter grew tired of the actor's party lifestyle.

Barry's partying and drinking started to take a toll on their relationship and the Feather singer decided to end things between her and the actor.

An insider revealed to The Sun that the singer wants to focus on her career rather than worrying about his antics.

"He has always been a party animal and Sabrina, 25, was fed up with his antics. She is soaring in the charts and is putting herself first as she gears up for her tour next month," the source said.

Their break-up comes after Keoghan starred in the singer's music video for Please, Please, Please.

The couple first met in September 2023 but made their official debut at the Met Gala this year.

Carpenter recently opened up about her relationship with Keoghan and praised the Oscar nominee.

She told Rolling Stone:

"He loved it and is obsessed with the lyrics. I'm so grateful for that. I don't want to sound biased, but I think he's one of the best actors of this generation.

"Seeing him in the video with my song as the soundtrack made it even more special," she added.

The singer will be focusing on her career after the break-up. She is set to release her latest album Short n' Sweet this week and will embark on a European tour in March.

Carpenter will play two sold-out nights in the 3Arena in March 2025.
