Roz Purcell reveals she considered eloping with her fiancé

Roz Purcell got engaged in 2023

Roz and her fiancé got engaged in 2023 but have not set a date as of yet.

She said she and her fiancé simply haven't had time to plan something as big as a wedding.

In an interview with RSVP, Roz said they've considered eloping because it is an easier option.

"We just haven’t had time to plan!" she explained.

"We keep discussing it and are like 'Oh my god, do we just elope?' So we’ll see where that goes," she added.

In a previous interview with Her, Roz said she was not in a hurry to get married.

"In my twenties, I always felt like I was in such a rush. I thought I should be getting engaged at a certain age or have a house by that age. But now that I’m in my thirties I’m going to actually enjoy these things and slow life down.

"I’m really enjoying being engaged, I’m not going to rush getting married because I feel like as women we’re told to concentrate on certain things like having kids and getting married, but I want to enjoy the now," the wellness writer added.

She announced her engagement in August 2023.

Following the milestone moment, Roz posted a photo on Instagram to reveal the news.

"We’re engaged. I would like to remind everyone I broke my ring finger this year and that’s why it’s deformed. These rings may need to be cut off cause they squeezed on!"
