Speaking earlier this week in a Q&A, Sam put a stop to any speculation that he had been running Britney's account, with one fan asking: "
Do you control her Instagram?”
To which Sam replied: "I would never control someone that’s been controlled for 13+ years.”
After fans became concerned for the singer back in 2019, they launched #FreeBritney movement and fought to free her of the conservatorship she was under for 13 years. Conservatorships are usually granted to those no longer able to make decisions for themselves.
She was placed under this following an alleged breakdown in 2008 and her estate, financial assets, and some personal assets were put under the control of her father Jamie and lawyer Andrew Wallet.
After a lengthy court battle last year, Britney's conservatorship was officially terminated in November.
