Sam Thompson looks unrecognisable on date night with Zara McDermott

Sam Thompson reunited with his girlfriend, Zara McDermott, this week

Sam looked completely different to the guy who danced to JLS on national television for three weeks.

The former Made In Chelsea star looked dapper in a sleek suit as he posed alongside Zara.

The photo was taken in front of a lavish Christmas tree as the pair headed for dinner for Zara's 27th birthday.

Zara and Sam reunited this week after the 31-year-old returned home from Australia.

Zara said she was incredibly proud of Sam, but couldn't wait to see him.

She was unable to fly out to Australia due to charity work and rehearsals for Strictly Come Dancing.

Sam was overjoyed to be reunited with 'the love of my life' when he touched down in London on December 13th.

"I had no idea of the support"

Speaking about his experience on I'm a Celeb, Sam said the audience made his dreams come true by crowning him king.

He wrote on Instagram: "Thank you from the bottom of my heart, there aren’t quite the words to describe how grateful I am for each and every one of you who supported me during my time in the jungle.

"You made a young boy's dream (now slightly older) come true, and I will never ever forget that," Sam shared.

Sam admitted he was nervous about going into the jungle, but couldn't believe how much support he'd receive over the three weeks.

"I had no idea of all the support, love, and kindness that you all showed me, and reading some of your comments and messages, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude.

"Never in my wildest dreams, did I expect to be crowned King of the Jungle.

Sam said he always thought he was going to be eliminated, but the viewers were constantly voting for him.

"There’s no way that people were actually voting for me. But each time I stayed another day, I felt more and more humbled and emotional."
