Sam Thompson shares sweet tribute to girlfriend Zara McDermott after I’m a Celeb win

Sam Thompson posted a sweet tribute to his girlfriend, Zara McDermott, after returning home from I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

It was confirmed by producers that the UK reality TV star won by a landslide vote. He received 43.35% of the overall votes from the public, while Tony Bellew came in second with 30.87%.

Sam made his way over the bridge to meet his best friend, Pete Wicks, during the final moments of the show.

Zara revealed she was not able to fly over to Australia to support Sam in the jungle due to work commitments.

The 27-year-old was on year's Strictly Come Dancing, however, she made sure to show up and support Sam when he touched back down in the UK.

Taking to Instagram, Sam shared a sweet message after reuniting with Zara.

He wrote: "She brought balloons [laughing emoji] Reunited with the love of my life. What a trip, what a lucky guy I am, spot an awkward Pete."

Best Friend, Pete also shared some pitures of Sam and Zara's reunion, and said: "They were reunited…I was awkward [balloon emoji]."

After winning the show, Sam excitedly said: "I'm really overwhelmed, I didn't even think I was going to be invited onto the show. I'm so grateful, thank you so much. I’ve dreamt of doing this show for years and years and you made this boy’s dream come true.
