Saoirse Ronan reveals the moment she knew Jack Lowden was the one

Saoirse Ronan married Jack Lowden earlier this year

The couple first met on the set of Mary Queen of Scots and started dating shortly after in 2018.

They have since tied the knot but try to keep their relationship out of the spotlight.

Ronan recently shared a sweet detail about the pair during her appearance on Ruthie's Table 4 podcast.

The actress joked about the moment she realised he was the right person for her.

She shared: "Jack loves how much I love food. I was eating a burger and I was like, 'What are you looking at?'.

"He said, 'I'm watching you eat that because you're getting so much out of it.' That was when I knew," Ronan quipped.

The pair got married in an intimate ceremony in Edinburgh this year. They were joined only by their closest loved ones and have never shared any photos of their wedding day with the public.

The actors got married at the Edinburgh Central Registrar’s Office at the City Chambers.

The Register of Scottish Civil Marriages records confirm the pair married at the Edinburgh location.

They sparked engagement rumours last summer when Lowden posted a photo of the Little Women star’s hand with a diamond ring on it.
