Selena Gomez has reacted to a now viral TikTok about her past relationship with Justin Bieber which made comments about her weight at the time. The couple dated on and off for years, initially starting their romance in late 2010 and finally calling it off in 2018. After only rekindling for a few weeks in 2018, Justin then got back together with Hailey Bieber who he went on to marry later that year. While Justin and Selena have been separated for years and Selena has repeatedly asked fans to stop commenting on the relationship, even posing with Hailey this year to put rumours to rest, the TikTok still went viral. Posting it on November 29, one TikToker showed different videos of Selena during her relationship with Justin and claimed her weight was constantly impacted by him. The video went through various images of Selena at the different times she and Justin were in a relationship and was titled: “The reason why Selena is always skinny when she dates Justin.”

The post itself was then captioned: "He rathers models… My poor baby.” It was on December 11 that Selena reacted to the post when she commented a sad face emoji. While some fans believe she agrees with the video itself, others think Selena is saying that she is sad that her past relationship and weight is being commented on again online. One fan commented: “Maybe she’s upset you guys are constantly bringing up her body changing over the years.” A second wrote: “Sad face because YOURE still discussing about her past like you know her.” This comes after Selena made a comment about her relationship with Justin following a viral photo of herself and Hailey Bieber at the second annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles. As fans often pit the two against each other due to their relationships with the singer, Selena addressed the picture in an interview with Vulture, saying: "Yeah it's not a big deal. "It's not even a thing." Earlier this year, Hailey denied dating Justin while he was still with Selena. On the Call Her Daddy podcast, Hailey discussed the trolling she receives. "The perpetuation, comes from the misperception, 'Oh, you stole him,'" she said. "It comes from the fact that they wished he had ended up with someone else and that’s fine. You can wish that all you want but that’s just not the case." She continued: "You can wish that all you want, but that's just not the case. If we have moved on, why can't you?" Selena also addressed the "vile and disgusting" trolling she receives while on on TikTok Live. "I think some of the things that I don’t even need to be aware of are just vile and disgusting. And it's not fair because no one ever should be spoken to in the manner that I've seen," Selena said.
