Selena has now spoken out and revealed what she was talking to Taylor Swift about.

The Rare Beauty creator shut down the rumours by commenting on E! News' Instagram.

The publication ran a story about Gomez gossiping about Kylie Jenner, but she quickly addressed the claims.

Gomez confirmed she told Swift about two of her friends who were hooking up.

She wrote under the post, "I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up.

"Not that that's anyone business," she quipped.

After addressing the situation, Gomez confirmed she will be taking a break from social media.

The singer told her fans that she wants to focus on the things that matter to her.

She posted a photo of her boyfriend, Benny Blanco before logging off.

She wrote alongside the snap, "I’m off social for a while. I’m focusing on what really matters."
