Serena Williams shares adorable first photos of her baby daughter

Serena William has shared the first photo of her baby girl - as she revealed her unique name.

The tennis champion and her Reddit co-founder fiancé Alexis Ohanian welcomed their daughter on September 1. And, two weeks later, the proud mum has shared the first photo of their daughter with fans on social media. https://www.instagram.com/p/BY-7H9zhQD7/?hl=en&taken-by=serenawilliams The 35 year old shared an adorable new time-lapse of the couple's journey together - including the moment they brought home little Alexis from the hospital. She said:

“So we’re leaving the hospital after six, seven days. “It’s been a long time, but we had a lot of complications, but look who we got — we got a baby girl!”

The montage also included a number of memorable moments from her pregnancy, like their first ultrasound, bump selfies, as well as the then-soon-to-be-parents assembling the nursery. There's even a short video of Serena holding her Grand Slam trophy at the Australian Open alongside the caption: "No one knows I'm 8 weeks pregnant." She finished off the clip with a heartwarming bio for her little girl. It read:

"Hello, world. Baby girl Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. "Born: September 1, 2017. Weight: 6lb 14oz. Grand slam titles: 1."
