Strictly Judge Hints At On-Show Romance During Last Night’s Live Show

Ex-rugby player Thom Evans may be insisting he’s still single, but Strictly judge Darcey Bussell’s comments on last night’s show have sparked the rumours that he and partner Iveta Lukosiute may be more than just dance partners. Thom and Iveta, who took to the dance floor to perform the cha cha last night, won over most of the judges, but it was Darcey who commented on more than just the dance moves: “I could see you were slightly overwhelmed at the beginning watching your partner Iveta. I was worried that you weren’t going to warm in to the dance. Before adding, “You upped your performance, you came out with plenty of energy and attack…well done.”   Thom, who has been paired with Lithuanian ballroom dancer Iveta Lukosiute, has denied a romance, claiming “We’re just good friends.” The pair were spotted clubbing at London nightclub Boujis on Monday, but have downplayed their closeness as friendship. Speaking about Iveta, Thom recently told media: “We’re just good friends. She’s got an amazing personality off the dance floor. “We really get on – that’s it.” Whether they’re an off-screen couple or not, the pair managed to wow with their chemistry on the dancefloor, walking off with 27 points out of 40 for their performance.
