Such a dotey name! Aston Merrygold announces baby’s arrival

This is TOO cute.

Aston Merrygold of JLS fame has welcomed his first child with fiancée Sarah Richards. The boyband star, who shot to fame on the 2008 series of XFactor, shared the news with his Instagram followers. Uploading the sweet snap of him and his newborn, Aston wrote:

"Grayson Jax Merrygold 30/01/2018 @sarahlourichards life is now complete."

Little Grayson arrived into the world yesterday and it's clear his parents are completely besotted. Only last month, Aston shared the news that he and Sarah were engaged in another sweet Instagram post. Aston and Sarah first met back in 2012 when she toured with JLS as one of their backing dancers. This year, Aston was in the public eye once more as he took part in the 2017 series of Strictly Come Dancing. He was eliminated in week seven when he lost out to Saturdays star Mollie King but this didn't go down too well with his army of fans, who protested that he should have been kept in the competition.
