Add us as a preferred source on Google »Taylor Swift's publicist, Tree Paine has been forced to shut down rumours that the singer married Joe Alwyn.
The pair's relationship was at the centre of a lot of speculation throughout their six years together, but gossip site DeuxMoi has consistently claimed that Swift married Alwyn at some stage in their relationship.
The singer and actor were notoriously private about their relationship and allegedly tied the knot in a non-legal ceremony, but Tree Paine has now addressed the claims.
In a furious statement on Twitter, Paine said the rumours DeuxMoi is spreading are "insane".
DeuxMoi claims Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn had some form of a ceremony in 2020 or 2021, but it was never made legal.
"Enough is enough with these fabricated lies about Taylor from Deuxmoi.
"There was NEVER a marriage or ceremony of ANY kind. This is an insane thing to post," she stressed.
"It’s time for you to be held accountable for the pain and trauma you cause with posts like these," she added.
The 'champagne problems' singer broke up with the actor in the spring of 2022 after six years.
Neither of them has publically commented on their former relationship.
Swift has since moved on with NFL player, Travis Kelce.
She has reportedly been dating Kelce since July, but the pair only went public with their relationship in September.
They're allegedly planning on moving in together temporarily after Swift wrapped the latest leg of her Eras Tour.
