Terrie McEvoy shares newborn baby girl’s name for first time

Terrie picked the perfect name for her little girl.

Terrie McEvoy has confirmed the name of her baby girl and we adore it.

The new mum gave birth to her adorable daughter over the weekend. She shared a series of black and white photos from the hospital to announce the birth of her first child. The doting mum revealed her daughter is called Sydney Tina Fitzpatrick. The name is incredibly special to Terrie and her husband David. The couple lived in Sydney, Australia for years before returning home to Ireland in 2019. Baby Sydney's middle name is a touching nod to David's late mother Tina, who sadly died in 2018. Terrie shared a photo of her holding her newborn in her arms in the hospital. She simply wrote her daughter's name alongside the photo. "The beginning of the rest of our lives. Our hearts are ready to burst with love and gratitude," she shared. The mum added, "Welcome to the world baby girl." Terrie's friends showered her with loving messages following her announcement. Louise Cooney wrote, "This news made my weekend!! Arriving on her own terms a few weeks early.. I wonder who she takes after. So happy for you both… excited to watch ye on the biggest adventure yet." "What a name, beautiful pic, enjoy every second of her," another wrote. One added, "So much love and emotion in your eyes. Congratulations to you both." This is the nurse's first child with her husband David Fitzpatrick. Terrie confirmed she will go on maternity leave for a couple of months before returning to work as a nurse. She is hoping to return to work by next May.
