There’s been a new twist in the feud between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton

Oh dear.

From the moment Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced they were moving away from Kensington Palace, there have been plenty of rumours that it was because of a rift between her and Kate Middleton. Especially after Kate was said to have been left "in tears" after a fitting for Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid's dress. And then there was speculation that there was no feud, after Kate's recent comments about Meghan's pregnancy. But in a new twist in the kind-of-sort-of-possible feud, the Kate reportedly shut down Meghan after she is said to have berated a member of the Duchess of Cambridge's team. The Sun report that Kensington Palace have denied the row, although a source told them it did happen - before Meghan and Harry's wedding in May. They added:

“Her and Kate fell out when she b******ed Kate’s staff. “It’s a tricky situation but it was a one-off and they are determined to maintain a positive relationship even though they are obviously very different in their approach.”

The speculation over a possible rift between the Duchess of Sussex and the Duchess of Cambridge comes amid numerous reports Prince William and Prince Harry would be making a formal division between their estates and duties. The royal brothers currently share a joint household. But this is reportedly going to change following the birth of the Sussex's first child next year. The decision is said to be due to the fact that the Princes each now have their own families, as well as different responsibilities.
