Three years running.. Sofia Vergara is the highest-paid TV actress

Forbes has just released it's list of highest-paid TV actresses.

And for the third consecutive year in a row, Modern Family actress, Sofia Vergara has topped the list. The 45-year-old actress made an astonishing €34.7 million in the past year. Surprisingly however, only a quarter of that cash load came from Modern Family; with the bulk of her earnings coming from licensing and endorsement deals with brands like CoverGirl and Pepsi. Tying with her for top spot in 2016 was The Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco. This year, Cuoco came second racking in a massive €22 million. There was a jump down to third place which saw two joint winners. Mindy Kaling and Ellen Pompeo both making around €11 million in the past 12 months. Most of Pompeo's earnings came from her role on Grey's Anatomy, while Kaling's sum came from films like Oceans 8 and A Wrinkle in Time as well as a deal with McDonald's. And finally taking the coveted fifth spot was Mariska Hargitay, who continues to see a financially successful run on Law & Order: SVU.
