Fury has opened up about how his life has changed since his split from Molly-Mae Hague.
He opened up about how boxing is all he has ever done in the moving interview.
Fury explained that boxing is all he's ever known ahead of his return to the ring.
Discussing his recent hand surgery, Fury said the health concern made him fear for his future.
“I’ve never had another job outside of boxing, I’ve never done anything.”
"And when you do that for such a long time, and then all of a sudden you're sat in a hospital bed and you're thinking to the future of, you know, a year down the line, you're thinking to yourself, "I've never done anything else other than box, what am I going to do to pass the time. How am I going to get through this?" You know, you fall into a little bit of a dark place."
“The fact that I couldn’t do that, and I couldn’t get out of bed in the morning and do what I wanted to do and live and did what made me happy, I just thought, you know, sod it all.”
In January, Fury opened up about his struggles with alcohol dependency in an interview with Men’s Health.
The dad admitted his struggles were the main reason he broke up with Molly-Mae.
Fury admitted he couldn’t be the partner he wanted to be because of his issues.
“It kills me to say it, [but] it’s true, I couldn’t. I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink, and it is what it is. People go through different things in life and we all have our crosses to bear. I’ve got mine to bear.”
Fury has been praised for helping raise awareness and for highlighting this pressing issue.
Now, Fury says that 2025 will be the best year of his life:
“I’ve turned it all around, and I’m just, I’m happy mentally now.”
During his interview, Fury paid tribute to his daughter Bambi.
“[I] speak to Bambi all the time, she’s, she’s everything to me, I love her so much.”
The now 26-year-old explains that he’s now on “the wrong side” of his twenties.
It may not feel like a birthday at the moment, says Fury, but he hopes to celebrate on Friday upon his return to the ring.
“I’ve got a job to do on Friday, but all the celebrations will be in after Friday night once we bring home that win."
