In a new documentary he shares that whenever he sees a piece of litter he makes a point of picking it up, a habit his classmates used to pick on him for.
"I used to get taken the mickey out of at school for just picking up rubbish," Harry says in the BBC's Prince, Son And Heir: Charles At 70.
It's something that was drilled into both him and William by their dad, Prince Charles.
Whenever they had time off from school, the boys were brought out on walks to tidy up the countryside.
"We were in Norfolk on school holidays, and went out litter picking with him," William continues.
"Both of us thought 'This is perfectly normal, everyone must do it'.
"We're there with our, basically, spikes, stabbing the rubbish into black plastic bags."
Charles has been vocal on the environment for decades and has campaigned on issues like climate change, pollution and farming practices.
