Unearthed photo shows Prince Philip giving off real Prince Harry vibes at 36

You'd almost wear they were related. 

As it turns out, Prince Philip and Prince Harry look alike. Not now, but in their past years. Most significantly Prince Philip's past years, when he was a younger man, and still appeared on the covers of magazines. Following the passing of the 99 year old last week, Getty Images royal photographer Chris Jackson shared a photo he had acquired a few years back, depicting Philip gracing the front of the 1957 Paris Match magazine. "I was blown away the minute I spotted it," he said. "It always reminds me of the unique, historic reference points that Royal photography provides. The front cover features a fantastically suave Prince Philip on tour with The Queen, check out my stories to see inside."  https://www.instagram.com/p/CNhzv4jhAQV/?utm_source=ig_embed The above image is enjoyable to witness, but it is not surprising, for these men are related and therefore it's not entirely beyond the realm of impossibility that they might, indeed, look alike. However, it would seem as if Harry and Philip's similarities go far beyond their looks. In their younger years, both men served in the British military, Philip during World War II in 1939, and Harry who was deployed to Afghanistan twice. Both men also exhibited a so-called cheeky attitude over the course of their lives, an awareness that although they were a part of and benefitting greatly from the royal family, they were desperate to live their lives authentically, often by going out, drinking, and occasionally ending up on the front of the Sun newspaper for something they had said or done. That being said, Harry's attitude towards ethnic minorities has been considerably more agreeable than Philip's ever was, but such "gaffes" aren't to be mentioned so soon after his death. Harry, who flew back to the UK to attend Philip's funeral this week, alluded to these similarities in his statement following his grandfather's passing. “My grandfather was a man of service, honour and great humour," he said. "He was authentically himself, with a seriously sharp wit, and could hold the attention of any room due to his charm—and also because you never knew what he might say next… master of the barbecue, legend of banter, and cheeky right ’til the end.” Harry failed to mention that the pair looked incredibly alike, but sure he probably just hadn't seen the photo yet.
