Vogue Williams feared she would never have kids after divorce at 31

Vogue Williams is reflecting on her divorce from Brian McFadden

Vogue was only 31 years old when she divorced the former singer, but she thought she ruined her life at the time.

Vogue thought she was doomed following the end of their marriage, but her life was only just beginning.

Speaking on Bryony Gordon's Life of Bryony podcast, Williams said:

"I think I'm excited about it because remember like... remember being liked 19 or 20, you think that 40 year olds were just really old and battered, but then when you actually get to it, you're like this is a really nice moment."

"I think in your thirties, you're trying to figure stuff out a little bit more. Because I remember ... I was divorced at 31. I was like basically that's it I've ruined my life. I'm never gonna have kids. I'm never gonna do what I always wanted to do."

However, things changed for the podcast host when she met former Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews.

The couple married in 2018 and went on to welcome three children together: sons Theodore and Otto, and daughter Gigi.

Williams added, "And then you see how your life actually starts to unfold, and that's why I think it's exciting to move into your forties."

Vogue previously opened up about her marriage to Brian McFadden in her memoir Big Mouth.

The mum-of-three admitted she knew she was making a mistake on the morning of her wedding day.

"The morning of the wedding I felt very stressed and so anxious because deep down I knew I had made a mistake… After the wedding I tried to make things work.

"The relationship wasn’t all terrible, we did have some great times too, and for the most part he was good fun to be around. But he was not husband material. It was me who called it in the end. I couldn’t keep trying, it felt pointless… I’m not here to throw anyone under the bus but there are things that went on in our relationship that will never be forgiven."

Vogue is set to celebrate to celebrate her 40th birthday in October.
