Zara explained: “We’re in such a good place. There’s no need to rush or change anything, because I wouldn’t be with Sam if I didn’t want to be with him forever.
“And when [an engagement] happens, it happens. If that’s in five months or five years, I really don’t mind. I genuinely trust that timing is everything.”
While Sam was insistent that Zara was definitely going to say yes when he does eventually ask, Zara added: "People want to see you fast-track your relationship but you’ve got to remember what’s right for you.”
Zara and Sam split very publically in August 2020 when Sam discovered that Zara had cheated on him early on in their relationship, with the whole thing unfolding on Made In Chelsea.
It was reported at the time she had cheated with someone “in the music industry”, which would have been around the same time she took part in the Celebrity X Factor back in 2019.
The couple couldn't stay apart for too long though as they have been together since their brief split and are happier than ever.
