“Definitely. I would advise them to (take part), but my advice would be that the show isn't for everyone. In my opinion, a lot of people that are on the show don't have the X Factor.
“As far as I'm concerned, Ben had the X Factor - it was almost like the show was built for Ben. This is why I think it was so great that he won, because I think he was a winner that really did deserve it and he's going to do something with it.
“The show is not going to be for everyone. I was lucky because I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, but I'd advise people to try it. There's no harm in that at all.”
