The "extensive gold zone" was found at Clontibret, County Monaghan.

It has been reported that the gold is buried 30 metres below the historic Tullybuck antimony mine and the find is "exceptional." According the the Independent, professor Richard Conroy said of the find: "As a result the team are excited with this additional gold zone discovery and what it means for the Clontibret project and our company as a whole." It comes after the company announced that it was to accelerate development on Irish gold just two weeks ago. Because of the find, "a number of development initiatives [will be set] on which we will be updating shareholders shortly." Shall we all plan a trip down to Monaghan, so?
