Famous faces pay tribute to comedian and actress Caroline Aherne

Caroline Aherne has been battling cancer for the last couple of years and her brave fight has come to an end.

The actress and comedian, who provided plenty of laughs over the years, will be sadly missed. Celebrities have taken to Twitter to pay their respects to the 52-year-old, who was immensely talented. The Royle Family star is believed to have suffered from bladder, eye, lung and throat cancer, the combination of which led to her untimely death.
