Vogue Williams reveals new baby’s name is ‘a bit mad’

Even Joanne McNally was 'a bit taken aback'

The Irish TV star announced she is expecting her fourth child with husband Spencer Matthews in an Instagram post in April.

The celebrity couple are already parents to Theodore, 7, Gigi, 5, and three-year-old Otto.

Vogue has recently revealed they have already chosen their baby's name, but she did admit that it's a bit 'mad'.

She even went as far as to say the name made her bestie and co-host Joanne McNally 'flinch' when she first heard it.

Vogue told listeners of her and Joanne’s podcast My Therapist Ghosted Me: "The name we’ve chosen is f***ed, it’s mad. Joanne flinched at the name, and it made me go, 'Oh?'."

Joanne then agreed: "Yes, I did. I mean, it’s a big name. Like, at the time, Theodore was a heavy hitter, and I know you like a crazy name.

"I like names too, I like naming shows, but you like naming babies. I will admit I was a bit taken aback."

Vogue responded: "Well, it’s such a big first name that we’re going to do a normal middle name, just in case, so the baby can choose."

Joanne then sarcastically replied: "Yeah, I think that’s probably a good shout. The baby will need to be at least an eight out of ten to carry off this name."

Vogue jokingly replied: "Well, Joanne hardly knows I’m pregnant, every time she sees my bump she goes, Oh?'."

Joanne replied: "Now that I’ve heard the name, I’m certainly not going to forget."

It was earlier this week that Vogue and Spencer celebrated eight years of marriage.

Posting a sweet selection of snaps to her Instagram, Vogue wrote: "8 years married today, it doesn’t feel like 8 years! My favourite number and another year with my favourite person… love you, my Spenno."

Spencer and Vogue began dating back in 2017 after they met on the reality TV show, The Jump. Shortly after, the pair announced that they had tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at the Glen Affric estate in Scotland the following June.

A few months later, they welcomed baby Theo, who became a big brother in 2020 when Gigi was born.

The following year, the couple announced that they were expecting their third child together, welcoming Otto in April 2022.
