Clooney has locked lips with Hollywood stunners such as Jennifer Lopez, Julia Roberts, Michelle Pfeiffer and Catherine Zeta-Jones for the big screen, but those days now appear to be over, according to the man himself.
The Oscar-winning actor says that the decision came after a discussion he had with Amal Clooney, his wife of 11 years.
The actor and filmmaker previously revealed that he knew “fairly quickly” that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with the human rights lawyer, now his spouse of over a decade.
“I have someone I can talk to about anything and someone who I care about more than I’ve cared about anything, so it’s really nice”, Clooney said.
George, 64, and Amal, 47, are parents to eight-year-old twins Alexander and Ella, and maintaining their family unit remains their main focus.
“I've been trying to go the route Paul Newman did: 'Okay, well, I'm not kissing a girl anymore'”, Clooney told the Daily Mail as he explained how he came to the decision.
The star of the Ocean’s films previously revealed that a director one time had the audacity to give him lessons on kissing, as he was already in the act with a female co-star.
“I remember early on in my career, I had to do a kissing scene with this girl. And the director goes, 'Not like that'. And I was like, 'Dude, that’s my move! That’s what I do in real life!”, he told the New York Times in 2022.
